Amanda Harris-Lea founder of Foxy Pheasant has taken further steps to show her support to one of Britain’s oldest conservation charities the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust.

In joining GWCT as a corporate member it means Foxy Pheasant is supporting the work of a leading scientific conservation research organisation. I take great satisfaction knowing we are helping our British countryside thrive, both for now and future generationsI grew up on a farm in East Shropshire where the principles of the GWCT’s habitat management, supplementary feeding and predator control had been in place since the 1950’s. I have first hand experience of working with the GWCT’s principles and visions . This first hand experience of actively managing our countryside through wise use has made me a very keen ambassador of the organisation and its work. I urge you to visit their website, take part in their events, get involved with local committee fundraising and look at their membership packages.

In addition to the businesses corporate membership of GWCT Amanda and her team have worked to resurrect the Charities original unique Tweed from the achieves.

Pictured working “Nogin” one of her many spaniels – Amanda wears original vintage GWCT breeks purchased during lock down from a London dealer.

Using the original sample of the vintage tweed Amanda and her team have successfully reproduced it onto there ultra modern Lycra Stretch Fabrics to create a range of clothing and accessories. A percentage of the sale price from all of these items goes directly to the charity to support their work.

Pictured are examples of the ladies and children’s lycra leggings – available as a Thermal Field range for the colder days or an active wear range for either side of the shooting season.

As well as launching a designated clothing and accessories line to support the work of the GWCT Amanda has also taken up the voluntary role of Chairman her local West Wales committee along with fellow West Wales resident Dylan Roberts taking the role of Vice Chair.

Offering  excellent shape retention and perfect fit solution, thermal Leggings are designed to be worn in the Field.
