I said I was stopping leggings. . And I am. . But I said I was stopping leggings. . And I am. . But the truth is, once I made that decision, it became very clear that it wasn’t just the leggings that no longer fitted the direction I want to take Foxy Pheasant. . I can see no way the two projects can run side by side and make sense. . So I’ve made a bigger decision. To wipe the slate clean. . The current Foxy Pheasant product range is coming to an end. Not just leggings — the lot. Once the remaining stock has gone, it will NOT be replaced. . No restocks. . No returning to the old version of things. . This is mpst definately not a sad ending. . It feels like the most honest decision I’ve made for the brand in a long time. . I never meant to start a clothing brand ( thats another story) . The Foxy Pheasant name is staying, but the direction is changing. . The next chapter will be slower, more sustainable, and more rooted in a broader country living vibe. Expect awsome creations from vintage fabric, limited edition stock drops, interior styling, upcycling and championing the circular economy. . Less constant production. More considered pieces. More beautiful things made from what already exists. . So yes, this is a door closing. But this is allowing another one opening. . Its a good news and bad news kind of day at Foxy H Its a good news and bad news kind of day at Foxy HQ. BAD NEWS = We are snowed in meaning no parcels will be collected today. GOOD NEWS = last night we took delivery of our first batch of Sherpa Head bands ( after the sherpa procurment delays ) All back orders are packed and ready to go when we are not snowed in. . This recent stock drop includes some Amber Cock Pheasant ones trimmed in olive or bottle green velvet - as modeled by my eldest who nabbed one enroute out the door to feed her sheep. . When we take delivery of sherpa headbands they are all limited editions. We make them from the small pieces of our own upholstery fabric (luxury velvet made from recycled plastic) off cuts and complimentary vintage velvets. So by default they are limited editions. But if you see a colour way you like, dont hang about #whentheyaregonetheyaregone .
