Cock Pheasant
Amanda’s original design that started all things ‘Foxy Pheasant’
It was on an autumn afternoon in 2015 whilst shooting with friends that Amanda experienced her epiphany! Having missed the previous season due to ill health, she felt she was seeing the field through new eyes. “It was like someone had turned the volume, contrast and smells of the day to full bore”.
Hen Pheasant
The hen pheasant, as with most of nature’s females, is theoretically not as colourful as her male equivalent.
Her attractiveness is less obvious with the devil being very much in the detail: it is found within the shapes and patterns of her feathers.
French Partridge
The little flying puddings of the field.
They share many similar colours to the cock and hen pheasants, but when you look more closely, you will find that each colour is just presented in different quantities.
Peacock
The idea for this fabric came about during the summer of 2020 as Wales was emerging from the first lockdown.
Amanda came across an entire peacock’s tail for sale locally on Facebook Market Place.
Original Foxy Tweed
‘Foxy Tweed’ is a digital recreation of a typical herringbone tweed, which is then digitally enhanced once more to match the game bird’s colour palette.
