ANNA MAY WOODHOUSE
Anna is a proud brand ambassador for Foxy Pheasant, bringing with her a lifelong passion for the countryside from Argyll & Bute on Scotland’s west coast. A new mum to her daughter and co-owner of Lochandubh Kennels and Cattery, Anna works alongside her mum and their dedicated team while also helping to run the small animal rehoming charity Fiona’s Ark. CHARLOTTE COWLING
Charlotte is a female gamekeeper based in Essex, with over seven years of experience in the field. After leaving hairdressing ten years ago following the birth of her daughter, she began joining her husband out beating. When he bought her first gun dog, she quickly fell in love with the sport, which inspired her to study at college and pursue a career in gamekeeping. She now works as an underkeeper in the county of Essex.
Living and working outdoors year-round, Charlotte is known for her love of statement country clothing and an undeniable obsession with tweed. The countryside is central to her family life — her daughter has ponies, and her husband enjoys stalking.
She spends her free time with her family and dogs, heading off on adventures and visiting the grouse moors.

RUTH LIGGET
When Ruth was little, she was fortunate to have parents and grandparents who encouraged her to explore the outdoors and immerse herself in the natural world — however muddy she inevitably became. Many of her early memories centre around encounters with wild birds, but it was a chance meeting at a local pub in Oxford that truly introduced her to falconry.
After ten years of volunteering and fitting flying around a desk job, Ruth was diagnosed with FND and made the decision to pursue falconry full-time. She now shares this important part of humanity’s cultural heritage with a wide range of audiences, while also showcasing the remarkable natural heritage found in both the birds she flies and the environments they inhabit.
Falconry is very much her specialist subject, and with a proudly neurospicy brain, she often shares more insight than people expect. When she is not flying, Ruth makes falconry equipment for the team and continues exploring the natural spaces around her — even gaining the companionship of a local robin who has seemingly adopted her on her walk to work.
MEGAN PAIGE CLIFFORD
My name is Megan, I’m a 29year old originally from Kent I moved to Scotland in 2020 with my partner working with water buffalo and regularly going beating on an estate in Fife. In 2022 we moved slightly closer back home in Herefordshire where we remain, I’m mad about sheep! During summer months when I’m not helping my partner on the rearing field with pheasant/partridge chicks I can be found at shows showing my flocks. In 2025 I welcomed my first child Alfie, together we have spent nearly 40 days beating across 2 estates with some of our dogs! Picking up and beating my own trained dogs is a massive passion of mine.

STEPH DAVEY
Steph is a freelance shooting instructor operating across the South West of the UK and is based in Dorset. She predominantly coaches ladies but is deeply passionate about introducing more people — of any age or background — to the sport. Alongside coaching, she organises events and game days aimed at building a stronger, more connected shooting community.
Without coming from a shooting or country background herself, Steph has turned her passion into a career. She is committed to setting an example that you do not need to fit a stereotype to take part in shooting — you can enjoy it, have fun, and shape it into whatever you want it to be.
TASHA MATHEWS
Introducing Tasha Matthews of @Tattyem_Gundogs who lives in Angus, Scotland with her gamekeeper husband, two children and many animals.
She says that during the shooting season life is a bit of a whirlwind, fitting in as many days picking up as possible.
Out of season Tasha is busy training and raising the next generation (both canine and human!) whilst also working from home providing marketing support to her family’s business in Dorset based out of the farm where she grew up.
Enjoying a bit of the rural “good life” is also very important to Tasha – from teaching the children about the countryside, eating seasonally (often things they have grown, foraged or shot), living sustainably and shopping locally or from small rural businesses. As someone who lives in leggings 24/7, Tasha says she is proud to join the Foxy Pheasant ambassador team.

KIRSTY PRIOR_FISHER
Kirsty is based in North Norfolk, where dogs and the countryside play a central role in her everyday life. She spends much of her time walking and training dogs, building strong relationships with them and developing confident behaviour both at home and out in the field. Working closely with dogs day in, day out has shaped who she is and influences her approach to everything she does — alongside being a dog groomer by trade.
Throughout the winter months, Kirsty is actively involved in shooting and picking up in and around Norfolk, working dogs in real field conditions and doing what she loves most. She is incredibly excited to be an ambassador for Foxy Pheasant, a brand that fits perfectly with her lifestyle and working environment. It’s a partnership she is proud of, representing quality, practicality, and a shared passion for the countryside.

Grez
Grez lives in rural Mid Wales with her husband, their two daughters, three dogs, and six ferrets — so life is rarely quiet and never dull. Surrounded by the countryside, she has embraced a hands-on, outdoor lifestyle that reflects her deep connection to rural living. She also helps to run a local shoot syndicate, an experience that has strengthened her skills in teamwork, organisation, and responsibility.
In her spare time, Grez is most at home outdoors — whether she’s ferreting, shooting, gamekeeping, or simply enjoying a long walk through the countryside. She values the practical skills that come with country life and takes pride in continually building her knowledge and experience. Overall, she would describe herself as hardworking, down-to-earth, and genuinely passionate about the rural way of life.

CLAIRE DAVIES
Claire is originally from Leicestershire and now lives in Cheshire. With a background in farming, she began sharing her shooting and countryside journey through @cheshireladyshooting after discovering shooting — particularly game shooting — in her 50s. Since then, she has developed a deep appreciation for life in the field, country living, and timeless rural style. Much of her time is spent outdoors shooting, gardening, and caring for her three rescue donkeys and two dogs. As a proud ambassador for Foxy Pheasant, she represents countryside clothing designed to help women feel confident, comfortable, and stylish outdoors.
Her journey into shooting has been both confidence-building and incredibly rewarding. Although the sport can feel male-dominated at times, Claire has found it to be welcoming and supportive. She is passionate about encouraging more women to step into shooting — including game — and to feel that they truly belong there. Her aim is to inspire women to trust in their abilities, embrace the countryside, and step into the field feeling confident in both their skills and what they wear.
