AMBASSADORS

SARAH

NICKELS-HAWKINS

Foxy Pheasant ELITE Ambassador

Sarah Nickels-Hawkins and lives in East Sussex. Her main job is working for a security company, where she is a secretary in the National Accounts department.

Sarah has two Labradors that she trains as working dogs. She competes with them in tests and trials and also picks up with them during shoots, which is her main hobby.

Sarah loves wearing Foxy Pheasant products, especially the leggings, gloves, neck tubes and scrunchies. She finds them super comfy and smart, and often receives compliments when training or competing in them. She also finds they are very well made and long-lasting, which is important as her leggings get worn a lot.

Amanda is a fabulous lady who puts her heart and soul into her company. A lot of thought goes into creating new patterns for the range, and she is always very supportive of her clients and ambassadors. I am very proud to be an ambassador for such a great company “

HAYLEY

ELITE Ambassadors for Foxy Pheasant

Hayley is based in the West Midlands, where she lives with her Springer Spaniel, Reggie. She works full-time as a Principal Officer, managing a variety of projects across multiple local councils. Alongside this, she is proud to work with The Country Girls UK as a Relations Manager, helping to organise and deliver events both across the UK and internationally. Life is busy, but incredibly fulfilling.

Outside of work, Hayley is a country girl through and through. You’ll usually find her outdoors, whether that’s shooting, walking Reggie, fishing, or open water swimming. Because her lifestyle is so varied, clothing is important to her. She looks for pieces that are comfortable, stylish, and versatile enough to transition seamlessly between her hobbies and working from home.

That’s why Hayley loves Foxy Pheasant. Their pieces offer the perfect balance of practicality, style, and versatility while being proudly made in Britain. Most importantly, the brand is size inclusive, which is always the first thing Hayley looks for when choosing where to shop. She especially enjoys coordinating leggings with matching accessories such as scrunchies, wrist warmers, and infinity scarves.

Hayley has even brought Foxy Pheasant into her home, incorporating their beautiful furnishings, including cushions and lampshades, to reflect her country-inspired style beyond her wardrobe.

And of course, the main Foxy Pheasant lady, Amanda, is pretty awesome too.

CAROLINE

MASTERS

ELITE Ambassadors for Foxy Pheasant

Caroline is from South Wales. She has a full-time office job, three boys with busy sports schedules, and two (soon to be three) dogs. As her boys get older, she’s beginning to find time again for her passions—most notably rediscovering her love of the countryside.

Getting her first dog, Jago, during lockdown rekindled memories of exploring woods and fields as a child. The addition of Merryn, her Labrador, introduced her to gundog training and led her back to the beating line after more than 25 years. Since then, her passion for shooting has continued to grow, with picking up and clay shooting now an important part of her life.

As a busy mum, Caroline needs practical, comfortable clothing that fits her lifestyle—something that allows her to move easily from dog walks to working at home. At the same time, she values style. She loves the pops of colour and texture that Foxy Pheasant offers, along with the quality and durability of the clothing. The brand’s Welsh roots are the icing on the cake.

MICHELLE &

CHARLOTTE

BENNIE

ELITE Ambassadors for Foxy Pheasant

Michelle is a gamekeeper’s wife based in beautiful Aberdeenshire. A country girl through and through, she is usually found with her daughter Charlotte, with at least one of their dogs never far from their side.

She feels incredibly fortunate to live where she does, surrounded by opportunities to enjoy the outdoors—whether that’s dog walking, fishing, ferrying, shooting, and so much more. It also means Charlotte gets to grow up experiencing and enjoying this lifestyle alongside her.

Being out in all weathers means that clothing is really important to Michelle. She first came across Foxy Pheasant after spotting a post on a shooting page on Facebook and was immediately drawn to the brand for being stylish and a little different—especially as she loves wearing leggings. What really stood out was that there were matching options for children, and she loved the idea of coordinating outfits with Charlotte.

As a mum to a very active and outdoorsy child, she has been especially impressed with the durability of the leggings. Even pairs Charlotte has outgrown have been passed down to her niece and still look as good as new. The quality of the material and the variety of patterns—from classic tweed to bold pheasant prints—make them both practical and stylish, while comfort remains the top priority.

Another favourite for both Michelle and Charlotte is the range of matching accessories, from simple scrunchies to neck warmers and infinity scarves—Charlotte’s personal favourite. Knowing everything is made in the UK makes it feel even more special.

Michelle and Charlotte love being part of the Foxy Pheasant team and are proud to represent the brand.

NATASHA FILLER

ELITE Ambassadors for Foxy Pheasant

Natasha is a busy lady of many talents… or perhaps a master of many side quests (Her own words – I promise). She runs Poodaroo Follow the Nose, where she trains dogs in the sport of Mantrailing — the art of finding a specific missing person using scent.

Alongside running her business, Natasha is a mum to a teenage boy, wife to her wonderful husband, and proud guardian of five amazing dogs: Indi the Chihuahua, Goose the Standard Poodle, Quill the Springer, Grouse the Springer, and Dennis the Jack Russell x Cocker.

If you can’t find Natasha, she’s probably outside enjoying one of her many hobbies. Whether she’s training her dogs for the shoot season or agility, shooting clays or rough shooting, fly fishing, or even weightlifting, she rarely sits still for long.

Natasha joined the Foxy Pheasant team last year, although she had been a fan of the brand for much longer. She loves everything the brand stands for and every single design — in fact, she’s pretty sure there isn’t one missing from her collection!

CHLOE

REDFORD

ELITE Ambassadors for Foxy Pheasant

Chloe is a hard-working single mum to two children, Avery and Rupert. She works full-time as a case officer for a very well-known military charity, helping people through their times of need. Chloe works from home, so her clothing style is very relaxed, with comfort always being her top priority. Not only is she the proud owner of lots of Foxy Pheasant leggings, she also owns one of the elusive FP hoodies, which is perfect for snuggling up in during work days.

In their free time, Chloe and the children are always outdoors with their Springer Spaniel, Milo. Chloe is a keen clay shooter and loves getting out on game shoots whenever she can. They also absolutely love heading to their local point-to-points. Chloe is a proud member of The Country Girls UK, where she frequently shares and promotes the amazing brand that is Foxy Pheasant.

Chloe loves Foxy Pheasant clothing. As a plus-size girly, size inclusivity in the country wear market can be difficult, so the moment she discovered Foxy Pheasant at the Game Fair in 2022, she was hooked. Not only is the clothing comfortable and stylish, but the fit is fantastic and the quality is outstanding. The thermals are incredibly warm for those shoot days and are a great way to show off a bit of country personality, even on the school run.

One of Chloe’s favourite things is that both she and her daughter can match their leggings for days out together. They regularly visit farms, explore the New Forest, and attend point-to-points. They also love accessorising their outfits with matching Foxy Pheasant pieces, including headbands, wrist warmers, and scrunchies. The scrunchies are so good that Chloe’s daughter even wears them for gymnastics — and they don’t budge an inch!

Chloe and the family are also big fans of their Foxy Pheasant bobble hats, which they wear all winter long and love pairing with skinny headbands for school. And it’s not just their wardrobes that feature the brand — Chloe has also brought Foxy Pheasant into her home with their beautiful cushion covers, adding the perfect touch of the outdoors inside.

CHARLOTTE COWLING

Charlotte is a female gamekeeper based in Essex, with over seven years of experience in the field. After leaving hairdressing ten years ago following the birth of her daughter, she began joining her husband out beating. She now works as an underkeeper in the county of Essex.

Living and working outdoors year-round, Charlotte is known for her love of statement country clothing and an undeniable obsession with tweed. The countryside is central to her family life — her daughter has ponies, and her husband enjoys stalking.

RUTH LIGGET

When Ruth was little, she was fortunate to have parents and grandparents who encouraged her to explore the outdoors and immerse herself in the natural world — however muddy she inevitably became. Many of her early memories centre around encounters with wild birds, but it was a chance meeting at a local pub in Oxford that truly introduced her to falconry.

After ten years of volunteering and fitting flying around a desk job, Ruth was diagnosed with FND and made the decision to pursue falconry full-time. She now shares this important part of humanity’s cultural heritage with a wide range of audiences, while also showcasing the remarkable natural heritage found in both the birds she flies and the environments they inhabit.

Falconry is very much her specialist subject, and with a proudly neurospicy brain, she often shares more insight than people expect. When she is not flying, Ruth makes falconry equipment for the team and continues exploring the natural spaces around her — even gaining the companionship of a local robin who has seemingly adopted her on her walk to work.

MEGAN PAIGE CLIFFORD

My name is Megan, I’m a 29year old originally from Kent I moved to Scotland in 2020 with my partner working with water buffalo and regularly going beating on an estate in Fife. In 2022 we moved slightly closer back home in Herefordshire where we remain, I’m mad about sheep! During summer months when I’m not helping my partner on the rearing field with pheasant/partridge chicks I can be found at shows showing my flocks. In 2025 I welcomed my first child Alfie, together we have spent nearly 40 days beating across 2 estates with some of our dogs! Picking up and beating my own trained dogs is a massive passion of mine.

TASHA MATHEWS

Introducing Tasha Matthews of @Tattyem_Gundogs who lives in Angus, Scotland with her gamekeeper husband, two children and many animals.

She says that during the shooting season life is a bit of a whirlwind, fitting in as many days picking up as possible.

Out of season Tasha is busy training and raising the next generation (both canine and human!) whilst also working from home providing marketing support to her family’s business in Dorset based out of the farm where she grew up.

Enjoying a bit of the rural “good life” is also very important to Tasha – from teaching the children about the countryside, eating seasonally (often things they have grown, foraged or shot), living sustainably and shopping locally or from small rural businesses. As someone who lives in leggings 24/7, Tasha says she is proud to join the Foxy Pheasant ambassador team.

Claire is originally from Leicestershire and now lives in Cheshire. With a background in farming, she began sharing her shooting and countryside journey through @cheshireladyshooting after discovering shooting — particularly game shooting — in her 50s. Since then, she has developed a deep appreciation for life in the field, country living, and timeless rural style. Much of her time is spent outdoors shooting, gardening, and caring for her three rescue donkeys and two dogs. As a proud ambassador for Foxy Pheasant, she represents countryside clothing designed to help women feel confident, comfortable, and stylish outdoors.

Her journey into shooting has been both confidence-building and incredibly rewarding. Although the sport can feel male-dominated at times, Claire has found it to be welcoming and supportive. She is passionate about encouraging more women to step into shooting — including game — and to feel that they truly belong there. Her aim is to inspire women to trust in their abilities, embrace the countryside, and step into the field feeling confident in both their skills and what they wear.

Living on a Staffordshire estate as a keeper’s other half, she is right in the thick of estate life — from crisp early morning frosts to the highs of the season’s end. Her world revolves around her four dogs, whom she loves to train and work throughout the season, and her two horses, which offer her the perfect way to switch off and enjoy a quiet hack out.

She is excited to share her journey and give a true glimpse into day-to-day country living — no filters, just real life. xx

Vicky Nizzle Pippin

I’ve always had a love for the countryside and country sports, but my real journey with working dogs began in 2012 when I got my first gundog. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a passion for everything that comes with working, dogs training, working, breeding and the day-to-day life that surrounds them.

By 2021 I realised that my “real job”( the one that actually paid the bills) was getting in the way of what I truly loved: grooming, shoot work, training and caring for my ever-growing pack so one had to go. One day I came home and announced that I thought I could make this work full time. I won’t repeat the words that came back, or the shade of grey my husband’s face turned! But five years on, it’s the best decision I ever made. He’s actually now the best kennel maid you could ask for.

Life with dogs means no two days are ever the same, and that’s exactly what I love about it. One of the most rewarding parts of what I do is helping others start their own journey with their dogs, particularly watching puppies I’ve bred grow with their new owners and flourish into wonderful working companions.

The countryside and the gundog community have a funny way of connecting people — wherever you go, there’s always someone who knows someone you know. It’s a small world, and one I feel incredibly lucky to be part of.
