We’re delighted to be collaborating with the wonderfully creative Siobhan Murphy of Interior Curve and giving beautiful fabrics a whole new chapter.
Following the completion of some of Siobhan’s interior soft furnishing and clothing projects, we’re taking those smaller pieces of gorgeous fabric that would otherwise have little practical use and transforming them into a limited-edition collection of handmade headbands.
Think fabulous colours, luxurious textures and wonderfully individual designs, all with a story to tell. It’s a celebration of creativity, collaboration and making the absolute most of what we’ve already got.

Who says fabulous fabric should be confined to the furniture?
Our Interior Curve Faded Glamour Classic Scrunchie Headband is a beautiful example of what happens when creative businesses work together to make the most of materials that already exist.
Made using surplus Faded Glamour fabric in Absinthe on Powder Pink from Interior Curve, this headband gives leftover interiors fabric a completely new purpose.
Rather than allowing smaller, unused pieces of beautiful fabric to go to waste, we’ve transformed them into something wonderfully wearable.
Soft Velvet, Vintage-Inspired Colour
With its soft velour-style finish, delicate powder pink background and beautiful absinthe-green detailing, this headband has a wonderfully romantic, slightly eccentric personality.
It’s a little bit vintage, a little bit glamorous and just the right amount of unconventional.
Whether you’re dressing up a simple outfit, heading to work or adding a splash of colour to your everyday wardrobe, this fabric certainly wasn’t made to disappear into the background.
Handmade in Wales, Not Mass Produced
Our Classic Scrunchie Headband features generously gathered fabric, creating a full, rounded shape measuring approximately 5cm at its widest point.
Each headband is individually handmade in Pembrokeshire, Wales. Slight variations in gathering, shape and pattern placement are completely normal.
No two will be exactly alike, and that’s part of the charm of working with rescued fabric.

At Foxy Pheasant, we believe that sustainability works best when businesses work together.
Our collaboration with Interior Curve allows us to give surplus interiors textiles another opportunity to shine.
Instead of purchasing unnecessary new fabric, we’re using beautiful materials that already exist and transforming them into handmade accessories.
It’s creative reuse, thoughtful production and a rather fabulous example of how smaller businesses and established interiors brands can work together to reduce unnecessary textile waste.
Because there’s enough beautiful fabric in the world already. Sometimes it just needs a change of career.

A Little Note About Our Rescued Fabrics
Our fabrics have often lived a life before reaching the Foxy Pheasant workroom, and we don’t always know their full history or exact composition.
Every piece of fabric is carefully washed, cleaned and pressed before being transformed into something lovely, but if you have allergies or sensitivities to particular textiles, please bear this in mind before purchasing. We recommend treating your headband gently, avoiding harsh cleaning products and excessive washing.
A little care, a little common sense and a whole lot less waste!
