Our Burnt Sienna Classic Scrunchie Headband is made from rescued velvet, giving previously unwanted fabric a beautiful new purpose. Rather than allowing perfectly good material to go to waste, we’ve transformed it into a luxurious, gathered hair accessory with plenty of character.
The rich, warm brown velvet is wonderfully understated, making it a natural partner for tweed, country clothing and everyday wardrobes. Its classic scrunchie design adds volume and texture without being unnecessarily extravagant.
Handmade in Pembrokeshire, Wales, this headband represents everything the new Foxy Pheasant is about: reusing beautiful materials, reducing textile waste and creating something worth wearing again and again.
Because frankly, there’s already enough fabric in the world. We might as well do something lovely with it.

A Little Note About Our Rescued Fabrics
Giving beautiful old fabrics a second life is what we’re all about, but here’s the thing: we don’t always know where they’ve been or exactly what they’re made of! Many of our fabrics are vintage, reclaimed or rescued from unwanted stock, which means their original composition is often a mystery. Every piece is carefully cleaned, washed and pressed before we work our Foxy Pheasant magic, but we cannot guarantee the fibre content or that the fabric is suitable for anyone with particular textile allergies or sensitivities. So, if you’re allergic to certain materials, please use a little common sense before purchasing. We’d rather you were safe than sorry! These fabrics have already lived a life, and that’s precisely what makes them special. A little mystery, a lot less waste, and something rather lovely to wear.
